Calcasieu
Refining Company is located on the Calcasieu Ship Channel near Lake
Charles, Louisiana and in the very heart of the Gulf Coast refining and
petrochemical area. It has the processing facilities, location, financial
position, and personnel necessary to stay
competitive in today's rapidly changing business environment.
Calcasieu Refining currently has an operating capacity of 75,000 barrels
per day. Calcasieu Refining is continuously looking to develop additional
capacity while lowering operating costs.
The fundamentals of hydrocarbon processing and distribution have guided
Calcasieu's success. Calcasieu Refining benefits greatly from an excellent
location centered in the Gulf Coast hydrocarbon processing complex.
Located on the Calcasieu Ship Channel five miles southwest
of Lake Charles, Louisiana in Calcasieu Parish, the refinery is less than
one mile from the Intracoastal Waterway.
Our
Facilities
With a
location midway between the most important ports on the Gulf, Calcasieu
has barge access to major markets, both for acquisition of crude
oil feedstocks and transportation of refined products.
Calcasieu Refining operates four barge docks simultaneously for unloading
crude oil and loading refinery products
Truck rack facilities are available for receiving crude oil into the refinery. Crude storage capacity totals
450,000
barrels and total crude and product storage capacity is currently over
1,000,000 barrels.
Major refinery products include naphtha, jet fuel, kerosene,
distillate blend stock, LSVGO, and vacuum resid.

People
Central to
Calcasieu's operation are the refinery employees. The Calcasieu Refinery
work force has been recruited from the Lake Charles area. It is a
well-trained, highly motivated group intent on the personal development
necessary to assure that Calcasieu meets the challenges of growth and
expansion.
